Board of Director's Meeting
April 14, 2009

Present at the Meeting:

Al Galvi, Vice President
Earl Cuyler, Treasurer and Activity Director

Absent from the Meeting:

Bob Walch, President
Gary Vacin, Publicity Director
Elton Dyal, Programs Director
Bill Johnson, Director & Assistant Master

Call to Order:

Vice President Al called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM.

The electronic minutes of the April 14, 2009
Board Meeting were approved as written.

Treasurer's Report:

Earl handed out the financial report, showing there was $1,460.47 in the bank. Good Job, Earl. Tom made a motion and Al seconded to accept the report. The motion passed.

Activity Report:

Earl will send out a promotion flyer for the Chandler Airport Dazs on April 17-19. The Cowboy Cook Out will be held on April, 17th at 4 PM at Sisk Park. The Model Airplane Tour is on May 27th. See the web site for details. Al made a motion and Tom seconded, to accept the Activity Report. The motion passed.

Programs Report:

Al spoke for Elton and mentioned that the speaker for the General Meeting on April 20th will be Phil Scharber, the Regional Manager for Hondajet Southwest. The speaker for the May Meeting will be Gary Farrell with much experience with helicopters.

It was decided to defer, until the May Board meeting,  to discuss the problem of finding a replacement for Vern,  as Web Master. There is a possiblity of having to replace the Secretary also in the fall.

Earl made a motion and Tom seconded it, to adjourn. The motion passed at 10 AM.

The next, and last, Board Meeting of this SLAC fiscal year will be May 12th.
