Thunderbirds pilot to address… Aero Club gathering .
A retired U.S. Air Force pilot who once lead the USAF Thunderbirds precision flying team will be guest speaker at the Sun Lakes Aero Club (SLAC) gathering February 17 at the Sun Lakes Country Club. The public is invited to attend.
Col. Roger Parrish will
give a power-point presentation describing his experiences leading the
five-aircraft team between 1973 and 1974. Based at Nellis

After retiring from active duty in 1983, he served as director of training for American West airlines and also worked for Learjet. He was inducted into the Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame in 2007.
