Aero club flies in to Ryan Field

 

     ††††† RYAN20151218         Eight Sun Lakes Aero Club (SLAC) members and two guests showed up

at Ryan Field  for the clubís first fly-in breakfast of the season.  Gene Evans and

Gary West were passengers in Steve Perkinsí Cessna 182.  Jim Theobald rode

with Bill Brown in Brownís Cessna Cardinal.  Bob DeLong and Jim Ingelmund

were passengers in Paul Beeksí Bellanca Cruisemaster.  Doug Whitaker arrived

in a Cessna 172. The eight were met by honorary member Jessica Cox and

her husband, Christopher. Cox, the first armless woman to receive a pilotís

license, will be featured speaker at SLACís monthly gathering beginning at

6:30 p.m. January 18 at the Sun Lakes Country Clubís Mirror Room.  The public

is invited to attend.
