Herrin. These are the recollections
of Chuck about WWII. It is
wonderfully written and is 11,200 words long. Chuck was a member of the Sun Lakes Aero Club until he died
in the crash of his homebuilt two place “Hornet” on June 26, 2003 during
it’s first trial flight in Oregon.
He was a magnificent person and is sorely missed. The eulogy by the Sun Lakes Aero Club
follows Chuck’s recollections.
