  The next meeting is on Wednesday December 20^th at Phase I in the Arts and Crafts room which is in the building at the rear of the Recreation Center in back of the Billiards Room. $1.00 fine if you are not wearing your name tag.

1. The scheduled speaker is Major Al Fox, USAF (Ret)

Al is a native Californian, raised and schooled in Fresno, CA. He joined the Air Force aviation cadet program in 1951. He has been stationed in Okinawa, St Paul International Airport, Fresno, CA, Southeast Asia and South Vietnam.

He left the service in 1973 with over 6,400 flying hours but in 1977 got back into flying the DC-7 fire fighting tanker for 3 seasons

2. Election of President and Secretary for a 2 year term. The nominees are: President – Bob Walch and Secretary – Bill Johnson

  Member Bob Little crashed his Light Sport Aircraft at the Chandler Airport last Sunday morning, December 10, 2006. He was transported to the Scottsdale Hospital. He has had two surgeries, leg and back. Fortunately his spinal cord was not injured. His Home-built Hornet plane experienced engine problems about 10:00 a.m. and crash landed in an open field near McQueen and Queen Creek roads about one-quarter mile southwest of the end of runway 22. His wife, Mary, requests no phone calls or visitations at this time. Bob is recovering in the Rehab section of the hospital.
