·         Speaker at the last meeting on November 21st:

Lt Col Edward H. (Ned) Linch III spoke to us about his experiences during a tour of duty in Iraq.  This was very timely considering Congress’s vacillation on continuing the struggle in Iraq.  You may recall that Col Linch spoke to us at the May 16th meeting.  He covered “See and Avoid” which was very interesting and timely.  .

Member Cliff Rosch has won First in Class and Best of Show at the Greenway Car Show in Glendale, AZ the weekend of November 4th for his 1965 Shelby Cobra.  The car is a replica of a 1965 Shelby Cobra. This is not a kit car but it is hand made in South Africa. This is serial number 18 of 50 made and it is a diamond addition car!  It has a Roush racing motor 342 Cubic inch engine, 450 HP at 420 foot lbs of torque.  This was a good weekend in Glendale AZ.  I hope to add a few more before the February. 23rd show in Chandler.
