The Board Meeting notes of February 15, 2005 were approved.

Report from the Officers:

Ray Schrecengost reported that $1065.80 is in the club’s account and that he has an additional $30.00 in checks to be deposited.  Ray said 75 of 97 members have paid their 2005 dues.

Elton Dyal reported that Mike Halloran will provide the program tomorrow, March 16.  He said the April program will be presented by three aerobatics pilots, Jon Melby, Mike Wolfe, and John Walkup.  Andy Billick will provide the May program.  He also has a tentative program arranged for November.  He has not yet planned a program for October; the first meeting after the summer break historically has low attendance.

Bill Johnson reported that future Fly-Ins and Field Activities are posted on the web site.  He said the Fly-In to Tucson includes 7 aircraft and 24 persons.  Bill said that while planning for a Fly-In that seats are filled on the basis of “first come – first served”.  Bill provided Board members a list of members who have signed the Release of Liability form and said he is pursuing those who have not done so.

Vern Nelson reported that it takes a lot of his time to keep the web site current.  He said Bill Johnson is helping and is being groomed to take over the responsibility some time in the future.

Bill Johnson, ad hoc committee to locate a source for club jackets, provided information from the Sporty’s catalogue.  Because Sporty’s is an expensive source, Bill said he is continuing to search for alternatives.

Under New Business:

             a.          The Board approved a revision to By Laws Article 3.10 to read,                                                          3.01   Membership in the Club shall include those persons who seek                                       application and who have signed the Release from Liability form”.

b.                     The Board approved of Ray’s process wherein he will remind those who have not paid their 2005 dues that their membership will be revoked unless they make payment by April 1, 2005.

Dick adjourned the meeting at 9:55 am.

Respectfully Submitted

Robert D. Earl, Secretary
