BOARD MEETING

Dick Vaughn opened the
meeting at 9:33 AM.
Ray Schrecengost reported
that there is $506.07 in the Club account.
Vern Nelson reported that
there were 1,497 visitors to the SLAC web site in December, and that 5,362
pages were viewed. He said that the
total number of visitors in 2005 was 17,722 and that 70,424 pages were viewed. Vern said the web is in good order, but that
it is a lot of work for him. He is
attempting to recruit 3 to 5 members who can administer various portions of the
web.
Bill Johnson said that the January 21 Fly-In to the March Air Field Museum is taking shape. There are still seats available. There will be 5 aircraft participating. So far, only 8 passengers are signed up. Interested persons should call Bill Johnson, 480 895-2171 or contact him via email at bhjohns@wbhsi.net.
Elton Dyal reported no
changes in the line up of the programs.
It was suggested that he might contact Greg Chenoweth, Airport Manager,
Chandler Municipal Airport for either the April or May General Meeting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The Board voted not to pursue
the purchase or acquisition of a PA system that features remote microphones,
closed.
The Board voted not to fund
the purchase of lanyards for ID tags, closed.
NEW BUSINESS
Bill Johnson said the Women’s
Connection Club is looking for a speaker from the Sun Lakes Aero Club to
present a program at their February 16 meeting. It was decided that Elton Dyal and Al Galvi would present the
program. They will describe the
objectives and activities of SLAC.
Dick adjourned the meeting at
10:04 AM.
