Absent from the Meeting:

Al called the meeting to order at 9:30.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of the Aero club.

The following major items were discussed:

It is urgent to find a replacement for our webmaster, Vern Nelson. Al asked Kirk Meyer to consider accepting the job. Vern has the web site in excellent form that anyone who is proficient with computer operation could take over with a little help from Vern. Kirk agreed to consider the request.

Earl will continue to be Treasurer, Activity Director and maintain the roster. He mentioned that he has a tentative plan for club activities for the next two years.

Earl passed out a financial sheet showing the club has $1,293.55 in the account.

Earl also related the following activities planned for Oct. 2009 through Apr. 2010.

Oct 24 - A "welcome" back cookout at Sisk Park.
Nov. 28 - a ground tour at Challenger Space Center.
Dec. - None planned due to Christmas.
Jan. 23 - a tour of Rotoway in Phoenix
Feb. 27 - a tour of Hawker Beechcraft at Williams Gateway Airport.
Mar. 23 - a tour of Williams Gateway Airport
Apr. 24 - a "Goodbye" cookout at Sisk Park.

Fly-ins - These are breakfast flights.
Oct. 17 - to Sky Dive at Eloy.
Nov. 21 - to Ryan Field. west of Tucson
Dec. 19 - to Sedona Airport.
Jan. 16 - to Marana Airport and then to Pinal Air Park.

Earl will compile an email notifying members that the next club dues will start on Jan. 01, 2010.

Earl also mentioned that any member who has Western Broadband can view club news and activities on Channel 14.

Tom Malthaner will continue to be Secretary as long as he is able. Ben Thompson graciously mentioned that he could be back up if necessary.

Al is proposing a phone Champaign to contact pilots to inquire whether or not they would be interested in participating in club fly-ins. He suggested contacting pilots now and 2 weeks prior to the events.

Programs - Al will contact Elton regarding future program speakers.

Publicity - Gary will compile an article  for the "Splash" about club ground tours & fly-ins for Oct. 2009 through Apr. 2010. He will also prepare an article regarding Jessica Cox's presentation at a forth coming members meeting.
