Aero Club members enjoy breakfast fly-in at  Sedona

Five members of the Sun Lakes Aero Club (SLAC) participated in a breakfast fly-in to the Sedona Airport November 17.  Because the airport is built on a mesa, landing at the there is like landing on an aircraft carrier, thus the airport if often referred to as the USS Sedona. While there, the group had breakfast at the newly-opened restaurant overlooking the runway. Gary West flew his Cirrus SR-20 with passengers Ann West and Richard Simmons. Gary Vacin piloted  his Grumman AA-1B with Bob DeLong as passenger.  Pictured in front of West’s Cirrus are (l-r):  Gary West, Ann West, Vacin, DeLong and Simmons.
