EAA Radio Provides AirVenture to Oshkosh and the World
EAA
Radio, 1210 AM, will once again provide a live stream of their broadcasts from
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh to the world over the Internet through
www.airventure.org. In its 11th year of AirVenture broadcasts, this is the 6th
year EAA Radio has provided a live stream via the web. Broadcasts begin this
Sunday, July 23, and run through Sunday, July 30.
"We've
seen increasing demand over the years," says EAA staffer Steve Buss who
coordinates the radio team. "And the worldwide demand is such that we will
re-broadcast the morning show, air show, and evening Theater in the Woods
programs overnight to better accommodate listeners around the world."
Those
listening over the web are asked to visit the AirVenture website during the
week and let us know where your logging on. Selected responses will appear in
the convention's daily newspaper, AirVenture Today.
Here
are some of the highlights people can expect from EAA Radio this year:
·
Live, uninterrupted coverage of the daily Showcase
and Air Show (and replayed overnight)
