AMAZING WHAT A GOOSE CAN DO!

MEETING A GOOSE AT 15 KNOTS CAN RUIN YOUR DAY. THE PILOT

WAS INJURED BUT WAS ABLE TO LAND THE BEECH BARON SAFELY.

The following photos were of an incident in advanced training at Clarksdale Miss.  We flew the AT 10 which was made of plywood and on a night flight close to graduation I was in the left seat and on final when we ran through a flock of ducks which we did not see.  One went through the right windshield and landed in the copilots lap, another ended up kind of fried on the left engine, and a third went through leading edge of the plywood wing.  Although the copilot was somewhat messed up but not seriously injured I was OK and able to land safely.  It created quite a story for the class.!!!!!!
