CHANDLER AIRPORT EMERGENCY PLAN

Greg Chenowith has sent us information concerning the CHD Emergency Plan as follows:

Yes, we've had an Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) for years.  In fact our
staff has been working recently to update it.  Our AEP is based on the FAA
guidelines for such a plan as spelled out in FAA Advisory Circular AC
150-5200-31a.  You can read or download that AC at the following link:
http://www.faa.gov/airports_airtraffic/airports/resources/advisory_circulars/media/150-5200-31A/150_5200_31a.pdf

We are continually working to coordinate our plan with both of the first
responder units for the airport which are the Fire Dept (FD) and Police
Dept (PD).  We are hoping to increase the frequency of exercises (at least
to perform more table top drills) so we can keep some awareness with FD &
PD as to the importance of the proper command structure, asset controls and
communications needed to make an emergency response on the airport
successful.
